The two-channel video installation Stunned Man is the second part of JulianRosefeldt's Trilogy of Failure. The large-scale "Trilogy of Failure" humorously characterizes the identity crisesof its protagonists with psychological understanding. In Stunned Man we accompanyan actor in his daily domestic life. The film's plot runs only seemingly-parallel as a double projection because the action is repeatedly interupted by moments of surprise. The film's setting is a typicalthree-room apartment along which the camera travels in oscillatingmovements, exposing it as a set. In an endless loop, the stuntman in trapped in a slapstickbattle with himself and the banalities of everyday life.
