Paweł Althamer

Paweł Althamer’s artistic roots lie in the Polish avant-garde scene. Althamer uses his works to question artistic conventions. He works in nearly all artistic genres and has been represented at numerous important exhibitions, including documenta, Manifesta and the Sculpture Projects Münster. The Goetz Collection presented his work in a major solo exhibition in 2013. Althamer is best known for his participatory, socially engaged projects, with which he crosses the border between art and life.
