[Translate to English:]

In her short video Head, Cheryl Donegan catches a stream of milk in her mouth. The stream is flowing in a wide arc from a plastic bottle. She holds the opening of the bottle shut, lets the milk flow down lasciviously back onto the bottle and herself. She licks along the bottle, sucks on the opening, spits the milk against the wall. This painter and video artist has used milk-spitting before as an artistic “technique” for large format murals. The video recalls the flow of milk from a woman’s breast and with its title, not only brings up sexual, psychological, and art historical references, but also those of a religious nature.
